Cosmetic Dentistry

Crown and Bridgework Example

This demonstrates crown and bridgework to replace missing teeth in the upper and lower arches. In some cases the teeth can replaced with implants.

Porcelain Inlay Example
This is an example of a porcelain inlay. One of the longest lasting restorations in dentistry and also very esthetic.

Porcelain Crowns Example
This patients lower teeth do not show when she smiles and only wanted to restore the upper arch with porcelain crowns. After seeing the upper arch finished she now wants to do the lower.  This case not only shows how the shade of the teeth can be changed but also the size, alignment, and shape of the teeth for a very nice esthetic result.

Porcelain Inlays Example
This demonstrates a quadrant of silver fillings replaced with porcelain inlays. Note how natural the entire quadrant appears.

Crown and Bridgework Example
This patient lost two anterior teeth due to trauma and they were replaced with crown and bridgework. Other teeth in the front of the upper arch were crowned to give the smile a natural appearance.

Porcelain Veneers Example
Porcelain veneers were done on the upper arch for this patient to correct size, alignment, and shape issues. This can be a great option for patients who want to avoid orthodontics (braces) in some cases.

Crowns & Precision Attachments Example
A more complicated cosmetic case. After periodontal surgery, the remaining upper teeth were restored with crowns. Precision attachments were done so a partial denture could be used to replace the missing posterior teeth without showing any clasps or wires.

Crown & Bridgework
This case demonstrates crown and bridgework to replace a missing tooth, correct alignment issues, and improve esthetics.

Denture & Lower Partial
This case demonstrates a new full upper denture and lower partial with the lower partial delivered as an immediate (extractions of needed teeth are done the same day as delivery of the denture and partial).

Denture & Partial
This case also demonstrates a new full upper denture and lower partial with the lower partial delivered as an immediate (extractions of needed teeth are done the same day as delivery of the denture and partial).

Neuromuscular Dentistry

Full Mouth Reconstruction Example
This patient was having muscle spasms in the right masseter muscle (lower right jaw). This case demonstrates a neuromuscular full mouth reconstruction to correct the bite utilizing the concepts of neuromuscular dentistry. This reconstruction was done for functional reasons (not cosmetic reasons) as well as pain symptoms associated with muscle spasm (the bite was not correct) but it allowed us to address esthetic concerns at the same time. No more painful muscle spasms.

Full Mouth Reconstruction Example
This is the same case as above showing a full arch view of the lower teeth.

Neuromuscular Full Mouth Reconstruction Example
In this neuromuscular full mouth reconstruction case, the patients bite was not correct which lead to problems with grinding and wear of the teeth which can be very destructive.  This patient had no issues with pain, muscle spasms, TMD,  headaches, or esthetics but wanted to address his problems before symptoms were present.  Many cases are more complicated because treatment is not desired until symptoms are present.  Symptoms may include popping joints, muscles spasms, headaches, neck pain, sensitive teeth and others.

Repositioning of the Bite
Demonstrates repositioning of the bite with a removable orthotic appliance before final restoration. This gives us the opportunity to make sure the bite is correct. This patient had no complaints of pain initially but is doing well with the new bite that will not be so destructive to his teeth.

Repositioning of the Bite
Demonstrates repositioning of the bite with a removable orthotic appliance before the final restoration. This patient presented with numerous complaints of facial pain and head aches and they are now gone. The patient is now ready for final restoration to the correct bite.
